ABOUT KARLA

Karla Field is an independent artist based in Pasadena, California. A graduate of Art Center College of Design, she has worked as a toy designer at Mattel, Hasbro, and Applause Gifts. Under the name Culture Craft Kids, she taught cultural arts and crafts from around the world to children ages 5 to 12. Recently her colorful felt floral illustrations were published in ASU’s monthly Zocalo column which features illustrator’s from around the world.

She now focuses on creating felt dolls, illustrations, and ornaments.
